Hofkirchenkonzerte 2023

The concert series has been popular for years, not least because of the fantastic atmosphere of the Schwarzmanderkirche (Black Monastery Church), both among locals and tourists.

This year, the Wilten Boys’ Choir presents music ranging from the late Renaissance to the early Baroque period, up to the 21st century. This includes excerpts from Claudio Monteverdi’s Vespers of the Blessed Virgin and Antonín Dvořák’s Great Mass in D, as well as works by Viadana, Schütz, Rutter, and Stecher – all music that is particularly expressive thanks to the clear, radiant sound of the boys’ voices! Folk songs from Tyrol round out the program.

The concerts take place from 18:30 to 19:30 at the Innsbruck Court Church (Universitätsstraße 2) on Saturdays, August 26th, September 2nd, 9th, 15th, 22nd, and 30th.

Tickets: Tickets can be purchased at the Innsbruck Information (Burggraben 3, Tel: 0512/5356), all Raiffeisen banks, and other Ö-Ticket presale locations, as well as at the box office on the evening of the concert.

Discounts are available with valid identification for students, apprentices, university students, military personnel, pensioners, TT and Ö1 Club members, as well as Raiffeisen and Tiroler Versicherung customers.
