The Girls’ Choir Wilten was founded in 2021 by Prof. Mag. Johannes Stecher with the aim of providing girls with the same opportunity for vocal training as the boys.
It is generally administered separately from the Wilten Boys’ Choir but is taught by the same instructors in the same facilities. There are also occasional collaborative projects between the two choirs.
Currently, approximately 30 girls between the ages of 5 and 12 are part of the choir, and a new group will begin with the start of the school year.
