The soloists of the Wiltener Sängerknaben, under the direction of Johannes Stecher, will perform the major boy soprano role of “Oberto” in G.F. Handel’s opera “Alcina” in Florence. This is a production of the Salzburg Easter Festival with Cecilia Bartoli, which has been transferred to the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. The staging is directed by Damiano Michieletto, and the musical direction of the baroque orchestra Les Musiciens du Prince – Monaco is in the hands of Gianluca Capuano. There will be five performances between October 18th and 26th, 2022.
